Q: What if I need more hygienic sticks
for my QuadJoy?
A: You can buy more HYGIENIC
STICKS
from our QUADJOY MOUSE ACCESSORIES
page.
Q: Is there a need for drivers?
A: There
is no need for drivers for the QuadJoy Mouse. Just plug it in, and it will work. Q:
I plug my PS/2 QuadJoy in, but it won't work? A:
If you plug you PS/2 QuadJoy in after the computer is booted up, it will not work.
You must plug it in before turning your computer on. Q:
Do I need an adaptor to make the QuadJoy and another USB mouse work at the same
time? A: No two USB mice should work at the
same time assuming you have two available USB ports. If you need extra USB ports,
we recommend purchasing a USB hub. Q: Can a
USB QuadJoy and a PS/2 Mouse work at the same time? A:
Unfortunately a USB QuadJoy and a PS/2 mouse will not work at the same time, if
both are plugged into the computer when it is booted. It sometimes works, if the
PS/2 Mouse is plugged into the computer before it is booted; then, after the Operating
System (Windows) has loaded completely, the USB QuadJoy can be plugged in. Q:
My PS/2 QuadJoy has two PS/2 Ports, which one do I plug into? A:
Always plug your PS/2 cable into the PS/2 port to the right of the arm mounting
stud. The port on the left is for factory programming and repair of your QuadJoy
mouse, and the QuadJoy mouse will not function if you plug the PS/2 Cable into
this port. Note that no damage will occur if you accidentally plug the QuadJoy
in using the wrong port, it simply will not function until the correct port is
used when the computer is booted. Q: My QuadJoy has
a PS/2 and USB port, but only works via USB, why? A:
Your QuadJoy mouse only has a USB port, the other port is for programming and
repair purposes only. Q: What do the lights on my QuadJoy
mean? A: The lights or LED's on the QuadJoy
tell the user if the QuadJoy is functioning. The green and red LED's are for Factory
Programming Purposes, and should light up only when the QuadJoy is first plugged
in to let the user know it is functioning correctly. The yellow LED is the zero
pressure LED. The yellow light indicates that the QuadJoy is plugged in and functioning;
it remains illuminated when the user is not sipping or puffing. Whenever a user
sips or puffs the light turns off. Q: No LED's light
up on my QuadJoy, what should I do? A: If
no LED's light up on your QuadJoy, it needs to be serviced, please refer to the
SUPPORT page for more information or to contact us. Q:
When must I send in the QuadJoy for repair, or can it be fixed in the field? A:
If the stem of the stick is broken off inside the base and does not come out,
you will have to send it to us to be repaired. If any part of the base is
broken off where the stick with lure fitting threads onto the base, it will need
to be repaired by SEMCO. If the lure fitting on the end of the air line
tubing is broken, please call us so we can send the fitting to you. If you
want to work on the QuadJoy, you will have to pull back the knurled ring and turn
the arm and release the ring, so that it snaps into place.
